From being a young mat star holding a small school mark of 142-1 to being a constant source of pride for then Arizona State Head coach Lee Roy Smith and the Sun Devils. Aaron Simpson has made as smooth a transition from coaching and competition to fighting in the UFC as anyone has. Simpson now see’s his contributions mainly coming as a coach and a life guide. He’s tackling the transition of Daniel Cormier from 211 to 205. Cutting weight the right way. It’s not easy but he believes that Cormier will come out the other side the better prepared fighter, one that can go the distance.
