By PDG Staff
Always looking to tip the scales, PunchDrunkGamer has teamed up with Maxim, FHM, Muscle Mag, The Ring, TapouT and American Curves model, Ring Card Girl, Stunt-woman and all-around stunner Heather Shanholtz! Heather will be doing a weekly “Ask Heather” feature for PunchDrunkGamer, taking questions from her fans and the PDG readers.
During her short career, Heather has accomplished every goal she had set for herself but that doesn’t stop her from wanting more. Heather has been featured in over 45 national magazines including Maxim, FHM and Muscle Mag. Heather is also very well know in the MMA world with her being a spokesmodel for Tito Ortiz for his clothing line Punishment Athletics and countless features in all of the MMA related magazines and websites. Heather is also the spokesmodel for a company called Flying Pasties. The company invented special pasties to wear under your clothes when entering body scanners at the airport.
Heather has done countless appearances, car shows and radio interviews. Recently Heather has found her new love, acting. Heather is to appear with feature roles on the shows Graceland (to air this summer on the USA network) and The Glades to air sometime this year. Last year Heather also accomplished one of her other goals and attended International Stunt School where she became a certified stunt woman. She jumped from buildings, was lit on fire, did combat and knife fights and also driving stunts. With receiving countless awards and recognition in the modeling industry she is ready to accomplish her next set of goals. So welcome Heather to PunchDrunkGamer and keep sending in great questions!
Here are some of Your Questions submitted this week, enjoy!
1. Now that college football and the NFL has officially begun (and if you like watching football), which school and NFL team do you represent?
Heather Shanholtz – I am a Miami Hurricanes fan, respect the U. I represent Miami with everything except for the NFL and then it is the Baltimore Ravens!
2. The new Ultimate Fighter season is featuring both men and women in the TUF house. Do you watch the show and what do you think of women fighting in the UFC?
Heather Shanholtz – I don’t really watch TV so I haven’t seen the show yet but I do think women should be fighting in the UFC. I think it’s just as entertaining as watching the guys. Women can be really tough and competitive too! So as soon as I get the chance I am going to get caught up on the show.
3. Do you prefer to work alone or do you like photo shoots with other girls? What do you think is more sexy?
Heather Shanholtz – I like both! I just did a really hot shoot with Playboy Model Rebecca Lynn during our trip in Houston. I wouldn’t say either way is more sexy. It’s also big to be able to be comfortable with the other model(s). All of the girls I have worked with are either my friends or have become my friends. I’ve met some of my best friends in this industry.
4. If it isn’t too much of an intrusion, since I have seen some older shots of you, what cosmetic work have you had done since you began modeling?
Heather Shanholtz – I have had a breast augmentation and also a rhinoplasty. I have had other minor procedures done as well. I don’t try to hide the surgeries I’ve had. I’m comfortable with talking about it. I believe if you don’t like something and you have the means to change it you should. It’s your body.
5. You have talked in the past about your friendship with some of the fighters from the Blackzillians. Obviously you spend a lot of time working out, do you ever workout at their gym in Boca Raton? If not do you do any combat sports related workouts?
Heather Shanholtz – I’ve never been to their gym. I’ll have to check it out! I do my kickboxing training with my awesome trainer in Miami, Mike Walczak from Zak Attack Miami.
6. Halloween is just around the corner, any ideas on what you’ll be wearing this year? Also, do you have any pictures of past Halloween’s?
Heather Shanholtz – I have no idea what I’ll be wearing. Almost everyday is Halloween for me with playing dress up. LOL! Usually I pick out something last minute or just go through what I have at the house. I have a ton of costumes here. I do have some photos from past Halloween’s (see below). My favorite one so far was when I wore nothing but body paint at the Playboy Mansion with model Missy Robinson. Last Halloween I spent it sick in Vegas so I didn’t get the chance to dress up.
