Zimmerman-Schilt headlines the powerful “Golden Glory” card, showcasing two of the best and most dangerous kick-boxers in the world. The 6′ 3, 245-pound Zimmerman (76-16-1, 41 KOs), who fights out of the Netherlands, is a three-time Dutch Muay Thai Champion who won the 2008 K1 World Grand Prix in Amsterdam. He will be at a physical disadvantage, however, against the nearly 7-foot, 285-pound Schiltz.
Schilt (38-6-1, 17 KOs) is the only man to capture three consecutive K-1 World Grand Prix titles and is tied with Ernesto Hoost for winning the most overall K1 World GP tournaments with four apiece. The Dutch giant has also been an MMA fighter in Pride, UFC and Pancrase.
