Glory World Series – Under New Ownership & Ready to Throw Down; 1st Event Tomorrow

“GLORY” is under new ownership that has brought together a number of companies, with legendary talent and an important historic past all under one roof. In the coming weeks we will be making some big announcements. Our mission is to build the best Combat Sports Organization in the world that will restore the sport to its former GLORY.

Under new ownership Glory will organize at least six events per year with a mixture of MMA and Kickboxing, with many of these shows holding tournaments and having astonishing Prize Money not seen before in our sport.  Glory has also recently signed a number of fighters.

Here are some of the fighters that have signed with the new Glory:

Semmy Schilt – The only three consecutive World Grand Prix winner and his for GP wins ties him for most all time.  Schilt also was the Paris K-1 tournament qualification winner along with being a PRIDE and UFC MMA veteran.

Sergey Kharitonov – Known as one of the best fighters in PRIDE History and also as a top Strikeforce Heavyweight. Kharitonov lends his time to K-1 where he is known for his devastating power in his hands.

Errol Zimmerman – “The Bone Crusher” is the K-1 Amsterdam qualification tournament winner and is coming into his own and showing his world class talent with seven consecutive wins.

Gokhan Saki – Often undersized but still perennially a top 3 Heavyweight in K-1 due to his unparalleled speed and skill.  Saki previously won the K-1 Hawaii qualification tournament.

Robin van Roosmalen – One of the most electric new stars in the smaller weight classes.  Robin is the current It’s Showtime tournament 70 kg winner.
