The majority of my interview work is known via the MMA circuit. Professional mixed martial artists tend to get the most attention from me as far as the interviews go. I can find an appreciation for art on a lot of different levels though, not just within one form. Another interest of mine that I've had since I was three years old is comic books and graphic novels. I'm a sucker for words and visual art.
Delving outside of the fighter interviews, I will now be contributing to Panel Bound. This will be an area where I can shift the focus towards writers and artists, primarily those working professionally within the comic industry. Graphic novels and comic books are perhaps the last frontier for pure freedom and expression, flying under the radar of mass media regulations. An outlaw artform. Somewhere for thinkers and creators to go to push their own boundaries. Or just plain fun, depending on what you're looking for. There's something for everybody.
The first interviews of mine to show up at www.panelbound.com
are the five that I did back in 2007 and 2008. Figured it'd be best to get those out to a fresh audience before cranking out some new ones. The following links down below are to those particular interviews. For the new interviews, check in with me at any of my areas online and of course over at Panel Bound.

Oh, and I have one interview that doesn't quite fit into any of the aforementioned brackets. So far, I've only interviewed one person who would be known more as a musician than anything else in their professional endeavors. Here's the information on that following piece.
Chuck D (Carlton Douglas Ridenhour) is a professional musician, author, producer, and lecturer. He may be most known for his work as the frontman for legendary Hip Hop group Public Enemy. Along with Flavor Flav, Terminator X, Professor Griff, and the Bomb Squad, the group helped pave the way for politically conscious rap and is listed on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. Chuck D has also released a solo project titled Autobiography Of Mistachuck and fronted the band called Fine Arts Militia.
