Curtis Brigham to Return at Aggression FC 11 in September
n addition to an already highly-anticipated main event between Joe “El Dirte” Doerksen and Kalib Starnes, AFC promoters are thrilled to announce that Winnipeg’s own Curtis Brigham (10-5) will come out of retirement to face the young and very dangerous Matt Trudeau (2-0) of Richmond, British Columbia. Brigham, the owner and head instructor of WAMMA and a BJJ black belt, will look to leverage his experience edge when he takes on the young and undefeated Trudeau.
Matt Trudeau is also an instructor, as he teaches out of Dynamic MMA in his native Richmond. He’s unbeaten under the AFC banner, making short work and finishing both his opponents in the first round. Trudeau will look to make a name for himself and establish his credibility as a threat in this next fight, which will be his toughest test to date. These two will meet at a catchweight of 140 lbs.
Also added to the card is Winnipeg fan favorite Dominick Blais (8-5), as he will go to battle against Lenny “The Show Stealer” Wheeler (5-2). Lenny will have his hands full with Blais and the thousands in attendance cheering for him. This fight will take place at a catchweight of 150 lbs. Here is the card as it stands now:
