"Buakaw is missing. He has left Por Pramuk Gym since March 1, 2012. No one knows where he is. His manger does not call him. His fight on March 17 in France and seminar in UK on March 25 have been cancelled."

The following is from Pinca's Facebook:

"Dear friends, partners and all lovers of Muay Thai, it is with great regret that we announce the package Buakaw Por Pramuk in combat he had to compete on the night of the 2012 to Fabio PINCA Titans.

We knew Sunday through the camp Por Pramuk, following an injury but especially a conflict between the leaders of the camp and Buakaw around the removal of his physical trainer, that Buakaw had left camp without explanation.

Por Pramuk camp officials and our contact in Bangkok have then announced us his package for the fight with Fabio PINCA on 17 March.

Since 72 h we all tried to solicit Buakaw so that it meets present March 17 and to respect its commitments.

Through the Thai Federation, his physical trainer as well as our contacts on the spot, we have sought to locate in vain and that he should represent a Thai delegation in the presence of the Minister of Sports in the Japan from 6 to March 9, it is not presented at the airport.

To date no one is able to know precisely or is Buakaw or what he plans to follow the blow with the camp Por Pramuk that attendance has always been.

It is with great regret that we are forced to change the fight card of the night of Titans this major problem.

We wanted to propose, as every year, the cream of the Muay Thai to continue to promote our sport and offer our public opposition faithful entre the best world muay nak in combat with Fabio PINCA - BUAKAW lighthouse.

We put all our energy on these events in respect of combatants and their staff, and we cannot unfortunately that condemn this kind of actions that do not serve our discipline.

But rest assured, we quickly sought a solution to make sure you do not disappoint and it will finally be AEKPACHA, holder of 2 belts of the Lumpini in - which will be opposed to Fabio PINCA 67kgs.

AEKPACHA, talented fighter and advance relentlessly will demonstrate her technique and a fight which already promises to be explosive in 2011 and a finalist winner Thai Fight, Fabio PINCA 2012.

Thanks to you all for your loyalty and support. Thanks also to Fabio PINCA and Nasser KACEM to have accepted without difficulties this change of opponent, this shows if need was the value of the commitment for the Team St Fons."

This whole situation is just batshit crazy. Read this:

Buakaw has finally spoken out about his problems with gym Por.Pramuk.

The K-1 MAX legend and Lumpinee International Fighter of the Year speaks out in this shock interview, in which he candidly reveals that he wanted to retire in 2009, but Por.Pramuk would not allow him to. He also mentions wanting to go out and enjoy himself more, and that he has had many problems within the gym regarding training and other issues, but that the gym “make problems for him”, and strongarm him into training more and backing down regardless of the issue at hand.

It was insinuated throughout the interview that Buakaw had been threatened. At the very least, that he has been forced into acquiescence by Por.Pramuk for years upon years, the gym in which he lives in a room with three other men.

Any questions asked about money, it should be noted that Buakaw quietly avoided answering, instead telling us that he’s suffered recurring injuries. It has long been known that Por.Pramuk have taken the lions share of all Buakaw’s fight purses; the strongest rumour being that when he won 10 million yen for the K-1 World MAX, that he only received 20,000 of it and that the rest went directly to Por.Pramuk who ‘bought four houses’, among other subsequent expenditures.

It should be noted that while Buakaw avoids responding to questions about money, he has never denied that his gym take the lions share of his earnings.

Here is the shock interview.
