Superkombat World Grand Prix Highlight Video – Constanta, Romania – May 2014

Selected from the Superkombat World Tryouts from Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, Jamie Bates was the big winner of Superkombat World Grand Prix, held in Romania, this past Saturday. Coming as outsider at his debut in Superkombat World Grand Prix series, the 24 year old fighter was the big surprise of the light heavyweight tournament and now he is ready to make the big step to the final stages.


In the main-event of the night, Sebastian Ciobanu was trying to score a fast win against Jallon Corentin. In the first round, Corentin was counted by the referee after he could not react after a big series of strikes, but he cameback into the game and dominated the other two rounds. After three rounds of rumble, all judges decided a draw, but both fighters claimed their victory so in the near future they will have a rematch.
