Flashback – To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Flashback is back in 3D and HD. Updated for the new millennium by its original creator and rendered in 3D by the power of the unreal engine, a new generation of players can now experience a game that helped define sci-fi Action/Adventure games. Conrad is back to save humanity from an invasion of alien Morphs set on absorbing our minds and incorporating our species! Rolling and shooting, always ready for another fight, help Conrad save the world and his girlfriend. You’ll find everything you always liked in this classic that set standards of the genre in the 90’s, and brought up to speed with the 21st century technology and expectations.

Cloudberry Kingdom – Unhappily ever after? That’s how it starts. The Orb resurfaces and the classic characters return. Kobbler with his mania, Princess with her endless boredom. It’s only a matter of time before Bob, our hero, shows up to put order back to madness. Three powers struggle for victory and the fate of Cloudberry Kingdom hangs in the balance. What will become of the retired hero, Bob? Will saving Princess one last time win her love? Could true love stop Kobbler and the power of the Orb? No, probably not. But hey, it’s worth a shot.

Saints Row and Metro Could be Headed to the Big Screen

Could Saints Row and/or Metro be coming to a theatre near you in the future? Well according to Koch Media CEO Klemens Kundratitz, the company is exploring transmedia opportunities for all its franchises. Here is what Kundratitz had to say recently to VentureBeat – “Those movies are not out of the question, if a company can deliver that transmedia experience, we are probably one of the few that have the ambition and ability to deliver that. At the same time, I have to be honest, we have not been able to deliver that transmedia experience yet, but it’s one of my long-term strategic goals to do so.”

Company of Heroes 2 Features Original Score by Award-Winning Composer Cris Velasco

Internationally celebrated composer Cris Velasco provides the original score for Relic Entertainment, Inc.’s Company of Heroes 2, the sequel to the highest rated strategy game of all time. Velasco is one of the most sought-after composers in the medium, best known for his award-winning music featured in the God of War and Mass Effect franchises. Recorded with world-class orchestra musicians and choir from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary, Velasco’s score for Company of Heroes 2 majestically captures the solemn heroism and human tragedy of the Eastern Front conflict during World War II. Company of Heroes 2 is scheduled to be released for PC on 25th June 2013. Company of Heroes 2 moves the battle away from the common Western Front focus of World War II and refocuses on some of history’s most brutal and devastating conflicts on the Eastern Front, challenging players to take command of the iconic Red Army and repel the Nazi invaders from the very gates of Moscow.

More Details Emerge from Bungie in Regards to Destiny

In a recent interview with X360 Magazine, Bungie design director Joseph Staten – ” “Anytime you get your hands on new hardware you’re going to try and take advantage of everything it has to offer, I know coming up at E3 we’ll be talking more about the specific features, but just like with any hardware leap, absolutely, we’re going to push this game as far [as] it can be pushed on whatever platform and it will look great, it’s going to look great on PS3, it’ll look awesome on 360, and it’ll look great on PS4 as well. You can bet that no matter where we are, we’re going to make the game look great. We’ve been planning for multiple hardware platforms from the very beginning, and while we can’t get into the minute technical details of each console, we’re fully committed to delivering our full vision for Destiny on every console we ship on, currently, that list is PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.” Staten also noted that more specific details with be announced at E3 2013.

Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein Calls Video Games “Killer Simulators”

I am almost certain that Democratic senator Dianne Feinstein has never played a video game or for that matter done any real research into why people kill people with guns but I can assure you that most politicians are just talking gasbags and the only thing they care about is keeping their position in society. So with that in mind here is what Feinstein had to say in one of her most recent rants – “I think the really violent video game becomes a kind of simulator to practice on. And it enables the individual to become much more familiar with that depiction of death and blood, but of course it’s not the way it is in real life.”
