The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently announced that it will make its first visit to Queensland’s capital as Brisbane hosts UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on December 7th. Fighting out of Sydney, Hunt (9-8) is a former K1 World Grand Prix Champion who has won four of his last five bouts (three by knockout). The 39-year-old earned Knockout of the Night honors in his only other professional mixed martial arts bout in Australia, when he defeated Chris Tuchscherer at UFC 127 in Sydney in February 2011.
