Hey Guys!
1. Last weekend at UFC 172, Jon Jones defended his title for a seventh time. Is there a fighter at your friend’s The Blackzilians that you think could beat him?
Heather Shanholtz – I know that he already lost to Jones once but I think Rashad Evans could be more successful the second time around. I would also keep my eye on Anthony Johnson, his fight against Phil Davis at that same event was very impressive.
2. Being a model, actress, spokeswoman, social media queen and more; is it hard to keep some things private in your life that you would prefer to?
Heather Shanholtz – It’s very hard and most of the time I choose not to keep things private. I blast everything out there. My fans have done so much for me! Whenever I feel like I’m spiraling down I’ll put it out there. It helps me a lot. I love my fans :). They have helped me immensely through breakups and whenever I get down. It’s a good feeling to have someone you’ve never even met reach out to you in that way. I do the same thing for them too. I’ve sent out packages to the troops in Afghanistan and I’m a big fan of giving to charity and always go out of my way for someone in need or just to put a smile on someone’s face. I’m very fortunate for the life I have and I always try to give back as much as I can. Good karma is why I believe I have the life I do 🙂
3. You have stated before that you do “implied nudes” for photos but in fact behind the scenes you are nude. Have you ever gotten any creepy feelings about the photographers or production staff?
Heather Shanholtz – Nope. The photographers I shoot with are professional and a lot of them have seen me nude. It’s not that I’m embarrassed to do nudes or uncomfortable with my body. I prefer not to do nudes because I don’t know where life will take me and I don’t want something like that to come back and haunt me. I have friends that pose nude and I don’t judge them for that. It’s just something I prefer not to do.
4. I recently saw a body paint/cosplay photo of you and another model, do you have any more pictures or information on that shoot?
Heather Shanholtz – I actually did Exxxotica all this past weekend. I do have more photos but we are working on getting them published so I’m trying not to leak them all out. But you will see some of them very soon!
5. Are you still working on becoming a stunt-woman or more acting jobs?
Heather Shanholtz – I am a certified stunt woman but I chose not to perform stunts because it’s very dangerous. I mainly got my certification because it can get me on movie sets easier. I love the acting but I’m still intimated with the whole thing because I’m not 100% confident. I’ve done a few TV shows and my latest one South Beach Tow will air May 7th. I was the same way with the modeling at first with being not confident enough. Now I’ll run around all day posing for the camera. I look back at some of my first shoots and they were horrible. Not on the photographers part but mine. Confidence is definitely the key to whatever success you obtain. That and working your ass off, being driven and motivated. If you’re confident nothing else matters. The world is your oyster and hard work pays off. I can say I’m an entrepreneur and a Jill of all trades :). Being intelligent is one of my best attributions yet one of my biggest downfalls. I over analyze everything and over think. Sometimes you just have to live your life and take the punches. Everyone goes through rough times and good times. It’s key though that you have that confidence and believe in yourself because that’s the only thing that matters at the end of the day. There are no guarantees with anything except you in the end 🙂
