LAS VEGAS – Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev handled their final pre-fight firm at Friday ’, s UFC 313 royal weigh-ins.
Pereira ( 12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and Ankalaev ( 20-1-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC) will meet for the light heavyweight championship in the main event of Saturday ’, s card, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena ( ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews/Disney+, ESPN+ ). Before that, however, they crossed paths for one final staredown.
Reigning winner Pereira attempts to make his fourth protection of the 205-pound rope after winning it in November 2023. He will have to get through Ankalaev, however, who is undefeated in his previous 13 conflicts dating back more than six years.
