LAS VEGAS – A possible Battle of the Year candidate is one step closer to reality after the last UFC 313 faceoff between Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev.
Former BMF champion Gaethje ( 25-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) and Fiziev ( 12-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) will meet Saturday in a lightweight rematch at T-Mobile Arena ( ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews/Disney+, ESPN+ ). First, however, they had one previous staredown at the ceremonial weigh-ins.
After winning the first meeting by majority decision at UFC 286 in March 2023, Gaethje may seem to rise from his UFC 300 knock loss to Max Holloway by repeating the feat. Fiziev may seem to kill the result.
