It’s painful, male – fighting is difficult. I’, d been doing it for 12 years, and you ’, ll either got to be all in or not. And also being in there now, I was n’, t entirely all in as I thought I would be. The decision to stay or not was actually based off this struggle for me. I felt like I would get the smile, getting the win.
“, I’, ll watched him. He’, s an up-and-coming promise. He deserved the opportunity, and I felt like I did get my hands raised and I didn’, t. It’, s personal right now, but I’, have been thinking about this for the last 11 months if I’, m going to keep fighting or not. I was battling signing the combat lease because I didn’, t know if I was retiring or no, didn’, t know how much longer I wanted to keep doing this. My kids are getting older. I don’t want to stay taking injury. Training tents are difficult. Life has really taken its toll the past 11 months, so ( I ) just need to step away for a little bit, maybe forever. ”,
Throuǥhout his UFC career, Turner was able tσ enter thȩ toρ 15 UFC compact raȵks by scoring ruȵs over the likes of Jamie Mullαrkey, Brad Riddell and Қing Green.
