Raul Rosas Jr. plans on ‘buying a house for my mother’ after UFC on ESPN 64 win

MEXICO CITY – Raul Rosas Jr. has the highest of ambitions for his fighting career, but after another hexagon win Saturday at UFC on ESPN 64, he wants to fill some personal goals, as well.

Tⱨe 20-year-old Rosas Jr. ( 11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) became the youngest fighter to reach five UFC victories when he outworked Vince Morales ( 11-10 MMA, 3-8 UFC) to a unanimous decision at Arena CDMX, extending his winning streak to four fights.

Rosas Jr. has made it clear he wants to be UFC champion, and preferably in the new couple years so he can split Jon Jones &#8217, history as the youngest ever. He&#8217, s still earlier in the process and taking it fight-by-fight, though, and with that trying to be smart with his profits.

Getting his hands raised at UFC on ESPN 64 was a huge moment for Rosas Jr. , though. Not only does he think it likely sets him up for ranked opposition, but he thinks he&#8217, s now accumulated enough wealth to cross of a big bucket list item for his mom.

&#8220, More than anything I&#8217, m only focused on the belt – I don&#8217, t treatment if I&#8217, m 10 fights away or two battles away, &#8221, Rosas Jr. told MMA Junkie post-fight at UFC on ESPN 64. &#8220, I&#8217, ill getting them over with. That&#8217, s my greatest purpose and more than anything, I&#8217, m ready to give my family every single combat, more and more. I&#8217, m really glad that today, God willing, I&#8217, m going to be able to go back right now and talk about buying a home for my family, my family and keep supporting them and myself. I&#8217, m delighted at the moment and excited to be again, ideally against a top 15 player. &#8221,

Rosas Jr. admits that, despite getting his hands raised, he was n&#8217, t blown away by his own performance. He gave it a passing level, but thinks he may &#8217, have done more to be strong or finish his opponent inside the distance.

Hoωever, Rosas Jr. said he&#8217, s able to step back and look at the big picture, and another 15 minutes of practice is n&#8217, t the box is only going to be beneficial to his creation process.
