In a split decision against Nasrat Haqparast ( 18-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 253 in March, Ribovics ( 14-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) lost. The Argentine is unhappy with the entire experience despite winning Battle of the Night and each combatant claiming an additional$ 50, 000 bonus.
