Bryce Mitchell is keeping his head higher after UFC 314.
After a heated and tense build-up, Mitchell ( 17-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) was submitted by Jean Silva ( 16-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) on Saturday ’, s main card at Kaseya Center in Miami.
Mitchell, who hαs now lσst two of ⱨis past three battles, ƫook to Instagram ƫo stαrt up on the struggle.
“, I want to thank everyone for their support and letting ya’, ill know I’, m doing just fine, ”, Mitchell said. “, Bless God, he protected me. I didn’, t lose my teeth, I don’, t got no broken legs. But, I feel great about that. I fought as difficult as I possibly could, I couldn’, t have fought any harder. I may include fought smarter.

Despite his controversial pro-Hitler remarks which turned the throng against him during the lead-up to UFC 314, Mitchell insists he’, s felt the like throughout the whole process.
“, I have never had this little outpouring of support, ”, Mitchell continued. “, It’, s really crazy. It’, s been a whole insane year, and I can’, t actually put it into words. I truly thought that I was going to win the fight. I 100 percent believed it because I’, ve simply never had a fight that great before, and I was like well, this struggle out of nowhere, just got this much enthusiasm. God ’, s chosen me to win this battle but that was n’, t the case. I’, m only going to keep fighting. That’, s all I can accomplish. That’, s all we can all complete. Any time you take a loss, really learn from it and keep fighting. That’, s what I’, m going to do. ”,
