Marvel’s First Family is finally making its way to the big screen — and the impact will no doubt have far-reaching results. Reed Richards, AKA Mister Fantastic, is played by Pedro Pascal and Sue Storm, AKA Invisible Woman, is played by Vanessa Kirby. Rounding out their superhero quartet is Johnny Storm, AKA Human Torch, played by Joseph Quinn, and Ben Grimm, AKA The Thing, played by Eben Moss-Bachrach. As shown by their scenes together, these four cosmically enhanced heroes have an effortless family dynamic.
There are jokes, there’s secrets, and a deep dedication to protecting each other. We see each of them using their unique powers, including Mister Fantastic’s stretching abilities. This official trailer also shows more footage of H.E.R.B.I.E., the family’s domestic robot, as well as the Fantasti-Car. Everything in the film is done in a retro-futuristic, 1960s visual style, and it’s directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision).
