Dana White thought America had the biggest p—sy media in the world … then he came to Australia.
Dana White loves coming to Australia, and he loves bashing the media. Following UFC 312 in Sydney, he combined the two activities at the post-fight press conference where he gleefully ripped the country’s media for being the biggest p—sies in the world.
For all its popularity, MMA still gets a lot of hate in Australia. The mayor of Alexander Volkanovski’s hometown recently refused to honor the featherweight GOAT contender, saying UFC “is against everything we stand for in our community in terms of violence and promoting violence.”
And then there’s the local newspapers with endless articles like “Why the hell is the New South Wales taxpayer filling pockets of Dana White and his appalling ‘sport?’” If you weren’t aware, the UFC signed a $16 million deal with the NSW government to host events like UFC 312. These days the UFC rarely shows up anywhere without a seven or eight figure ‘site fee’ being paid, often with government (aka taxpayer) money.

For UFC 312, Sean Strickland made the sports cover of the Daily Telegraph with the headline ‘UFC’s Biggest Imbecile.’ The UFC reacted by sharing the cover proudly on all their social media accounts. White would go on to deliver of his classic rants at the post-fight press conference ripping into the Australian media over their coverage.
“I thought that was f—ing hilarious,” White said of the Telegraph article. “For a place that is so tough, and the people — everything on land and the water can kill you — you have the biggest p—sies I’ve ever seen in the media in my life.”
“I saw a story where a guy was like, ‘I saw Dana do a podcast with the premier, and it physically made me sick.’ Holy f—king s—t. You guys have to have the biggest p—sies of all time in the media here. Just for the record.”
White said there was no pushback from the New South Wales government over Sean Strickland headlining the card, despite “Tarzan” almost getting deported for assaulting a fan the last time he fought in Australia. Dana joked that he was the one questioning the wisdom of bringing Strickland back.

“It is what it is, you know my stance on this,” White said. “We’re gonna take guys and girls that say a lot of things and do a lot of things. I’m a big believer in free speech, and it probably seems worse when you come here because your media are such weak human beings. I thought we had weak media. You guys win hands down.”
And the biggest p—sy of all from the biggest p—sy media in the world? That guy from the Daily Telegraph.
“We were actually laughing about it, we were reading the story in the back and cracking up at that guy,” White declared. “That guy’s gotta be the biggest f—ing wimp on planet earth … Even your people know that your media are weak. They even know! They know it! You know it. We all know it now. I didn’t know. Now I know.”
